The COVID-19 situation continues to develop at pace, with the most recent announcement recommending that those of us who can, should work from home. We are complying with the UK Government’s advice as it is shared and wanted to assure you that we have the resources, systems and infrastructure to continue to deliver work in the usual way and to support any of your changing requirements over this period.
Our top priority is to ensure that we continue to provide high-quality, uninterrupted service to support our customers whilst protecting our staff, families and communities – hopefully doing our bit to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the healthcare system.
The following summarises our position:
- The Lightfoot Senior Leadership Team (consisting of Senior Managers and Board of Directors) are meeting frequently to pre-empt and plan our approach to events as they develop and to flex our business planning as appropriate. This will continue for the duration of this pandemic.
- We have already taken a number of steps to comply with government guidance by stopping non-essential business travel, postponing events and moving to the use of video and teleconference facilities in lieu of in-person interactions.
- Our fitting suppliers remain operational – antibacterial wipes, provided to the engineers, are being used to clean vehicle interiors, door handles, keys etc. pre and post-installation. Our onsite engineers are to maintain a 2-metre distance between themselves, their colleagues and the customer. Disposable gloves are worn by engineers in all instances.
- Following the government’s announcement on 16 March, the majority of our people are now working from home. As a business, we are already set up to work in an agile way and so were able to respond quickly to this advice. For us this is business as usual in terms of our service to you and you can continue to contact us via the usual office telephone numbers, mobile numbers, and email.
