Pierce Crossley Crowned Fleet Driver of the Year 2024 and Wins £10,000 Top Prize

We’re thrilled to announce that Pierce Crossley, a driver from Dalkia, has been named Lightfoot’s Fleet Driver of the Year 2024 – and has taken home an incredible £10,000, thanks to our competition sponsor Allianz.

The Fleet Driver of the Year title is the grand finale of the competition, which recognises outstanding performance behind the wheel. Pierce secured the trophy by consistently hitting Elite Driver status (scoring 85% or higher) every single week for 24 consecutive weeks – no easy feat, and a testament to his safe, smooth, and efficient driving performance.

Together with Steve Clare, Branch Manager at Allianz Commercial, and Neil Marley, QHSE Director for Dalkia UK, we made a surprise visit to deliver the news in person.

The Competition

Lightfoot’s Fleet Driver of the Year competition is designed to reward exceptional drivers across the UK who go the extra mile to stay safe, efficient, and smooth on the road. Entry was simple:

• Drivers needed an activated Lightfoot account
• They entered via the Lightfoot app
• Driving for a minimum of 24 weeks during the competition period
• Achieve  Elite Driver status (85%+ score) each time they drove

Tens of thousands of drivers took part, but only one could take the title with Pierce selected as the winner from all those who qualified.
